When you give to United Way, you support partnerships and programs that improve lives in central and northeastern Connecticut.
Ensuring that people lead healthier lives is one way we work together to make opportunities possible for children and families. Together we:
Support healthier lives by focusing on:
- Access to health-related services
- Access to prevention, treatment and research
Last year, through gifts to United Way:
- Nearly 3,400 people accessed health insurance
- Over 2,300 people accessed healthy food through Meals on Wheels programs.
United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut focuses on helping children succeed and ensuring families become financially secure with access to basic needs, such as food and shelter.
