United Way of Connecticut's 2-1-1 Helpline
Last year in our 40-town region alone, nearly 110,000 people were connected to information and referrals through 2-1-1!
2-1-1 is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. It is the celebration of a great concept - a unique help-by-telephone service made available for FREE to Connecticut and national residents year-round, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Every hour of every day, someone needs access to essential services. It can be hard to know where to turn. That’s why Connecticut United Ways and the State of Connecticut support United Way 2-1-1.

Also, resources and support for other complex issues such as financial problems, mental health, substance abuse, intervention, and suicide prevention; and simpler issues such as volunteer opportunities and donation options.
