Housing

Meet Jess

Jess, a single mom with a four-year-old son, was struggling to provide shelter and was in desperate need of support. When money was available, Jess was able to get a hotel room for a few nights in a row, but this wasn’t very often. Most of the time the pair ended up sleeping in Jess’s car with just blankets for warmth.

Amy

Liliana

“I contacted 211 looking for resources for my little brother, and the support that we received from 211 was especially helpful to my family and me.”

“These programs are very important for people like me. And not only for people like me, but also for people in the community as a whole. We need these resources. These programs are a second chance for us to have help and to know that we’re not alone.”

Meet Nancy

“211 is there all the time, no matter what. When you’re close to an addict, you understand: when they ask for help, it may be a brief moment, and it may arrive at any time. You have to be able to get that help right then. 211 is there. It’s just a phone call away. It is a godsend.”

Be the reason someone gets the help they need today.
