Women United’s 16th Annual Power of the Purse helps end poverty by closing financial gaps and creating opportunities for local women and families to succeed.
Power of the Purse is our region’s premier women’s empowerment event! For more than 16 years, United Way Women United’s Power of the Purse Brunch and Silent Auction has been a valuable opportunity for women and allies to expand their professional networks while giving back to their communities. By participating in this year’s event, you are ensuring that our neighbors receive job training, financial education and savings opportunities.
Power of the Purse is best known for its fun and dynamic silent auction featuring fabulous purses, experiences and more; and, its impactful and inspirational program that leaves the audience bonded by powerful shared philanthropy. The funds raised at this event close gaps and create opportunities that help local women and families achieve financial security. Together, we are United to End Poverty.
