Why this program matters:

Read for the Record is one way that United Way closes literacy gaps and creates opportunities for students to succeed in school and beyond. Our goal is for children to read proficiently by the start of the fourth grade, a key educational milestone that indicates future achievement.

American Eagle Financial Credit Union and the Rotary Club of New Britain-Berlin
are the official book sponsors for Read for the Record.
