On and around June 21, thousands of people across the globe volunteer for United Way Day of Action.
United Way’s Day of Action provides opportunities for individuals and groups to be part of solutions that make a real difference in people’s lives. Recognizing the COVID-19 pandemic changed what this year’s Day of Action looked like in our communities, United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut assembled 100 elder care kits and delivered them to local senior living communities in an effort to boost spirits during this lonely time.
When you volunteer through United Way, you're joining 1.5 million people who are giving back so others can get ahead. Use your time and talent to create social change where you work or live — join our global community of game changers.
