National Volunteer Month of Service

At United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut, we couldn’t do our important work without volunteers. April is National Volunteer Month and United Way is dedicated to honoring all the volunteers in our communities as well as encouraging volunteerism throughout the month.

We want to invite you to join us by investing in your community through volunteering with your workplace, a group or individually.  With longer days and warmer weather ahead, let’s channel that energy to meaningful service to the community this April!

For questions or more information, please contact: Phil Blonski at  or (860) 493-1132

Group Volunteer

We are experts in creating unique and meaningful volunteer opportunities that encourage team building and collaboration, while helping employees connect to the communities in which they work.

Individual/DIY Volunteer

Join us in making literacy kits to help build children’s home libraries. The books and interactive reading props will be distributed to local schools that work with United Way to ensure children are reading at grade-level by the fourth grade.

Make a Donation

When you give to United Way, you are supporting a network of partners who are working together to meet the complex needs of people in our region, efficiently and effectively.

Thank you to all the participating companies!
