Paula S. Gilberto Honored by National Organization of Italian American Women

United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut pleased to announce that the National Organization of Italian American Women (NOIAW) has selected Paula S. Gilberto, President and CEO, United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut, as one of its 2019 Wise Women Honorees. For more than 30 years, the NOIAW has honored extraordinary Italian American women for their leadership in the community. Paula will be recognized for her professional accomplishments at the organization’s annual “Three Wise Women” Epiphany Celebration on January 13, 2019 at the New Haven Lawn Club from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

 

In Memory of Gregory B. Howey

Gregory B. Howey, President and Chairman of Okay Industries in New Britain, passed away earlier this month. Howey served in a number of community leadership roles with United Way in the New Britain and Capital regions. In 2009, he received United Way’s highest volunteer honor, the Community Service Award.
