United Way Joins In Supporting Our Schools Drive
On July 27, United Way joined NBC Connecticut and Telemundo Connecticut for their 2019 Supporting Our Schools drive. This year, they joined forces with Raymour & Flanigan to host a school supply drive in all their furniture stores across the state. The drive provides children with back to school supplies – such as pencils, pens and notebooks – to get them off to a great start to the school year. United Way mobilizes the people and resources committed to ensuring children are ready for school, stay on track and graduate on time prepared for college or career.
