Talk to Tots Program Participant: “I used to hear a lot about Talk to Tots program at CCFLC (Central CT Family Literacy) but never thought about enrolling until my cousin joined the program and started to tell me about how it had changed her a lot in terms of communicating and raising her child. So I decided to give a shot. As soon as I attended my first session, I was interested in the program. It was all about making my child ready for school and helping to develop her love for reading. Every session I learned a new way to communicate and interact more with my daughter. The talking tips, the videos, resources, and parent surveys, helped me a lot. My daughter’s reading skills improved and she has developed a habit of reading before bedtime. I highly recommend the Talk to Tots program to every parent with a young child.”
