Salesforce.org Philanthropy Cloud Featured in Hartford Business Journal
Our United Way is ready to usher in a new era of giving. The Hartford Business Journal spoke to Maura Cook, Director of Community Engagement and Marketing, to learn more about how Salesforce.org and United Way have partnered to combine the expertise of United Way in community building, fundraising and impact with the state-of-the-art technology of Salesforce.
United Way Awards $429,500 to Support Summer Learning
Nearly 3,400 children will participate in summer learning programs and receive healthy food as part of United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut’s Summer Smarts initiative.

United Way Day of Action – June 21, 2019

On and around June 21, tens of thousands of people across the globe volunteer for United Way Day of Action, providing opportunities for volunteers, donors and advocates to be part of solutions that make a real difference in people’s lives. Join us on our Day of Action, a Summer Meals Blitz, in partnership with End Hunger Connecticut!, Hartford Public Library and Hartford Public Schools. Volunteers are needed from 3:00-4:30 p.m. at Rawson Elementary School, 60 Holcomb St., Hartford to distribute information to local families to help raise awareness about free summer meals.
