United WE READ is a campaign dedicated to providing the tools and resources for young children to read at grade-level by the start of fourth grade brought to you by United Way and its partners. United WE READ has partnered with our school systems, municipalities and local and national initiatives to ensure our children are learning to read, and then reading to learn!

National Volunteer Month

April is National Volunteer Month and your group can join us in forging a new path to close gaps in child literacy and household necessities. By participating in United Way’s National Volunteer Month, you and your colleagues are helping reduce poverty and co-create a community where everyone has opportunities to succeed.

United Way Stuff the Bus

Join us for our annual United Way Stuff the Bus school supply drive in support of 25,000 local students. Collected items will be donated to classrooms across our region.

Mission United aims to support local veterans and active-duty service members and their families.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Week of Service

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a National Day of Service when millions of volunteers across the country come together to honor Dr. King’s legacy and ensure that his work continues into the 21st century. Our United Way invites you to volunteer with us in recognition and remembrance.
