United Way Emergency Response

COVID-19 Response Fund

Neighbors in Need

Neighbors in NeedOver the last several weeks, the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in increased cases and widespread closures of businesses, schools, and nonprofits creating increasingly dire economic consequences for local families.

In response, we have launched our United Way Neighbors in Need fund to assist individuals and families in central and northeastern Connecticut with food; emergency assistance; and, childcare.

At United Way, we are committed to ensuring basic needs are met. We need to work together to achieve that, now more than ever. We can’t do it alone and we can’t do it without you.

Please consider a gift to United Way Neighbors in Need. While the path ahead might feel uncertain, we know that together we will make a difference and support our neighbors. Thank you for your ongoing generosity and support. Stay well.

We are proud to partner with the other community foundations in coordinating a philanthropic response to COVID-19.
