United as leaders, we bring individuals and businesses together to financially empower local women and their families. The challenging economic landscape continues to put a strain on households already walking a financial tightrope. The 2025 Connecticut United Ways ALICE Report, a study of financial hardship, reveals that 38 percent of households across the 860 region are experiencing financial hardship, living in working or extreme poverty.

But there is hope, thanks to you. Proceeds from Women United Signature Events support programs, services and initiatives that help women and families get on the pathway to a financially secure future; connect individuals with skills and training for jobs in our region as well as provide the financial services and supports to achieve their goals.
